Raise your fork on Thursday, April 30, 2020, and take part in the 27th annual Dining Out For Life®!
Dining Out For Life is an international event that has raised over $4 million to provide vital services to people living with HIV. In 2019, the St. Louis community raised over $125,000 to help Vivent Health (formerly known as St. Louis Effort for AIDS) provide integrated, high-quality care to people in our community who are affected by HIV.
The concept is simple: on Thursday, April 30, dine out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, cocktails and more at any of over 100 restaurants participating in Dining Out For Life and at least 25% of your check will be donated to support the critical work being done at Vivent Health.
Your Support Helps People with HIV Thrive
In 2019, Vivent Health was able to care for 1,185 patients and fill nearly 12,000 prescriptions to people living with and at-risk for HIV in St. Louis. In September, they opened an onsite Food Pantry, which provided food to 218 individuals. This year, Vivent Health looks forward to adding on behavioral health and dental services to their HIV Medical Home model of care, so patients have access to the services that best fit their needs. Patients and clients may receive these services regardless of their ability to pay. This is made possible through vital funding that is raised through events like Dining Out For Life.
So grab your family and friends and make plans to dine out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, cocktails and more at any of the participating DOFL restaurants to support the work of Vivent Health.
