Pride St. Charles

ST. CHARLES - The Pride St. Charles Planning Committee held a Town Hall, Jan. 15 on the campus of St. Charles Community College, the site of city's first Pride celebration slated for May 30.

  • All day long entertainment on the amphitheater stage (two soloists booked, another to be auditioned, and several others who have inquired since the meeting, including a dance troupe.) Emcee will be a local drag queen celebrity.
  • A teen dance area.
  • A children’s area with a face-painting clown, sidewalk chalk, hula hoops, bubbles, etc.
  • At least 20 vendors have signed up, representing non-profit and for profit organizations.
  • On-site counselors, providing mini private counseling sessions to connect people with resources.
  • Between 7-10 food trucks have signed on.
  • A group commitment ceremony and/or marriage ceremony.

Organizations or businesses interested in being a vendor at St. Charles PrideFest have until May 15 to submit application and payment.
