ST. LOUIS - The 41st Miss Gay Missouri America Pageant was held April 10-12 at the Metropolitan Community Church of Greater St. Louis.

Sixteen contestants from across the state competed in the storied femaile impersonation pageant over two nights of preliminaries dueling it out in male interview, solo talent, long talent and evening gown. Final night saw the Top 10 "queens" compete in long talent, evening gown and on stage question. This year's winner and first alternate will go on to compete at Miss Gay America in Nashville, TN in October.

St. Louis entertainer Adria Andrews, last year's firstl alternate, swept all categories to capture the coveted crown, the oldest of its kind in Missouri. A host of former title holders and the reigning Miss Gay America 2014 Jessica Jade were also on hand to entertain and administrate.

"My win this year is a true testament that hard work and dedication truly do pay off in the end," said Andrews, also known as Josh McMikle. "However I owe a lot of my win to all the love, support and encouragement I have received from my amazing partner, Craig along with a cast of family and friends who urged me to never give up."
