ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Equality supporters will gather at the Brunch of Champions, Oct. 7, at Moulin Events Centennial Ballroom in support of PROMO, Missouri's statewide LGBTQ advocacy organization, to celebrate this year's Champions of Equality award recipients.
The annual fundraiser brings together more than 250 LGBTQ supporters, community and business leaders, politicians, and Missourians from all backgrounds to recognize the work of outstanding Champions for Equality.
The 2018 honorees include: CentrePointe Hospital, LGBTQ Champion in Healthcare; 4Hands Brewing Company, LGBTQ Champion in Business; University City Mayor Terry Crow, LGBTQ Champion in Government; and Hannah Brashers, LGBTQ Champion in Advocacy.
"We have a bounty to celebrate this year but we still have more to do," said organizers. "Support from the Brunch of Champions stays in Missouri and goes directly to PROMO and SAGE of PROMO Fund."
