PROMO, Missouri’s statewide LGBTQ advocacy organization, is "blooming with excitement" in anticipation of its largest annual fundraiser, URBANAIRE – "celebrating equality florALL Missourians". The always unique event unfolds on Saturday, May 11 at Cortex Innovation Community (4240 Duncan Avenue, 63110).
Now in its 12th year, URBANAIRE brings together 500+ LGBTQ supporters, community leaders, politicians, and equality enthusiasts from all backgrounds to mingle with fellow advocates; indulge on some of the finest foods, cocktails, and entertainment St. Louis has to offer; and to celebrate the most recent advancements in equality.
"URBANAIRE is stand out from typical black-tie fundraising programs in that PROMO creates an energetic and celebratory environment in which dozens of St. Louis' top restaurants donate food selections highlighting their best cuisine; local beer, wine, and cocktail distributors donate a variety of product selections," said Shira Berkowitz, PROMO Communications Manager. "We highlight the crucial and meaningful work we do in a short program that encourages our guests to spend their night mingling, dancing, and enjoying the entertainment. Every dollar raised this evening, including ticket sales, stays in Missouri to benefit LGBTQ equality. There are two opportunities to participate in URBANAIRE to celebrate Equality FlorALL - our premium event and main event."
The premium event commences at 6:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy tasty food selections from over 20 restaurants across Saint Louis, an open bar (Tito's Vodka, 4Hands beer, Miller Coors products, and more), live music and entertainment, and a live and *silent auction. Premium tickets are $150.

Premium Event guests are invited to stay for the Main Event starting at 9:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy an open bar, live entertainment, and DJ Jillian providing the music for the rest of the evening. Main Event tickets are $40 before the event and $50 at the door.
All proceeds go to support PROMO’s mission.

PROMO is at the Capitol every day making a difference by defeating bills that would harm our community and is working toward the opportunity to secure comprehensive nondiscrimination protections by passing the Missouri Nondiscrimination Act."
