ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The St. Louis Crusaders, a men's rugby club dedicated to the promotion of equality and diversity in sports through rugby, released its spring schedule on Wednesday featuring five games — two home and three away.
The April 15 home game is the most notable as the team welcomes not one, but two teams to St. Louis for a round robin tournament. This style of tournament allows each participant to play every other team once. It forces ranking to be based solely on overall performance rather than elimination.
"We're thrilled to welcome the Chicago Dragons and the Nashville Grizzlies to St. Louis for this event," said Robert Fischer, PR and Marketing Director for the team. "This will be the first time we host a round robin since our reformation which is a huge milestone."
The team welcomes all men ages 18 and older regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, height, weight, build, the level of fitness, or the level of experience. If you're interested in joining or want more information about the team, click here.
