ST. LOUIS, MO. - U.S. Democratic Senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, brought his grassroots presidential campaign to the "Show Me State"  on Sunday for several stops, including a packed event at Affton High School where some 2000-plus supporters, including an overflow room, came to "Feel the Bern." Missouri State Representatives Clem Smith (D-85) and Genise Montecillo (D-66) spoke, as did U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI). Famed actor and director Danny DeVito surprised the crowd with a raucous introduction of the insurgent presidential candidate. Sanders is currently trailing former FLOTUS, U.S. Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in a hotly contested battle for the Democratic presidential nomination. Missouri and Illinois will hold their presidential primaries on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Photos of the rally can be found here. Video after jump.
