ST. LOUIS, Mo. - From Thursday, September 3rd through Labor Day, Stray Rescue of St. Louis is cutting adoption fees in half to just $50. The no-kill organization’s shelter is currently full of adoptable companion animals after the group stepped up to help over 50 dogs from a Farmington kennel that is closing due to the owner’s retirement. Every adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, vet exam and microchip.

Stray Rescue’s Labor of Love adoption event and reduced fee also includes 30 dogs that will be at the Brentwood Petco’s MEGA adoption event at their store location at 8404 Eager Rd. on Saturday, September 5th from 11am – 4pm.

Potential adopters can meet dogs like Dolly Parton and King Louie at Stray Rescue’s shelter located at 2320 Pine St. in downtown St. Louis. Both dogs will make wonderful family pets! Dolly Parton is crate trained, house broken and loves kids. King Louie is also child and dog friendly, is very playful and sweet and would also make a great jogging buddy.
