Vendor and Parade Registration Now Open With Special Early Bird Rates

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Preparation for PrideFest 2017 begins as Pride St. Louis announces the dates, location, and theme of PrideFest 2017 following the annual planning retreat. The Pride St. Louis Board of Directors is pleased to announce that PrideFest 2017 will take place the weekend of June 23 - 25, 2017, once again in Downtown St. Louis at Soldier's Memorial.

This year’s theme is “Community Proud”, reflecting the organization’s efforts to engage more fully with the community.

“The theme reflects and celebrates our long and storied history as a community, but also looks towards the future and all that we can accomplish together,” said President of the Board Matt Harper.

The 2016 festival had over 250,000 attendees in addition to a record number of vendors and parade entries. New community efforts and vendor offers are expected to increase attendance significantly, making PrideFest the largest free pride festival in the country, as well as the largest downtown festival in St. Louis.

“The organization is excited to announce that registration for vendors and parade entries is now open," added Ethan Barnett, Vice President of Pride St. Louis.  "We expect this year to be one of the biggest yet, surpassing last year’s quarter-million attendees.”

Pride St. Louis continues to offer affordable rates among comparable festivals in terms of size and scope. In addition, special discounts are available for all organizations and groups that sign up early. This early-bird registration consists of the lowest rates all year long, but the deadline for these offers is on Dec. 31, 2016. Beginning on Jan. 1, 2017, rates will increase until the registration deadline of June 1, 2017. All interested organizations are encouraged to sign up during the early registration period in order to take advantage of the special discount. A new, more user-friendly vendor system has also been implemented, making vendor and parade registration easier than ever before. New options and add-ons are now available as well. The re-design of the system follows the announcement earlier this year that the organization’s website had been completely renovated to ensure ease of access to information and resources.
