ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Saint Louis Arts Alliance will present an evening inspired by the avant-garde on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 as members evoke their creative collaborations in a historic chapel architecturally designed by Theodore Link.

The evening, to be held at Link Auction Galleries (5000 Washington Place in the Central West End) at 6:30 p.m., will highlight members of the St. Louis Symphony as they share the wonders of George Crumb’s “Black Angels.” What’s more, local fashion icon Michael Drummond will cultivate costuming for professional dance works choreographed by Brandon Fink with music selections from Meredith Monk’s “Gotham Lullaby."

Another highlight of this program is the immaculate set design, provided by Junque, collected from various demolitions of historic buildings in the St. Louis area which depict the ruins of a fallen angel. This event will also feature a solo performance by Rafael Tillery as well as wine tastings donated by The Wine Merchant and hors d’oeuvres by Samantha Nawrocki from Libertine.

Join the Saint Louis Arts Alliance at “The Link” as they embark on a journey of cultivated multi-genre collaboration of professional artists. Parking is free. For more information or tickets, call 917-364-6489 or visit their website.

The Saint Louis Arts Alliance is supported in part by the Saint Louis Symphony, Santé Fitness and Wellness, The Sports and Medicine Training Center, The Wine Merchant, and Libertine.
