ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The recent 2016 Dining Out For Life® fundraiser benefiting Saint Louis Effort for AIDS (EFA) was a success on many levels, as the not-for-profit organization is making a conscious effort to expand the participation and reach among restaurants and within communities across the St. Louis area.
More than 110 area restaurants participated in this year’s event held on Thursday, April 21st, and each restaurant donated between 25% to 50% of their proceeds for the day.
Local sponsors of the 2016 Dining Out For Life® event included Feast Magazine, Quest Diagnostics, Vital Voice, Walgreens and the West End Word. And Anheuser-Busch and Swift Print Communications donated prizes for the raffle that restaurant patrons could enter. Subaru America and the Dining Out For Life International Association assisted in promoting the event on a national level.
Over the past 22 years, Dining Out For Life® has raised almost $4 million for EFA, with all funds staying local to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and provide support to people living with HIV/AIDS in St. Louis.
Next year’s event will take place on Thursday, April 27th, 2017. Contracts are available now for restaurants interested in participating in the 2017 event, as well as corporate sponsorship opportunities.
